Before you download the installation files, we suggest you have a look at
the BabelColor CT&A Revision History or
PatchTool Revision History and
consult the Purchase page to see if the new version
is free or requires the purchase of an upgrade.
Important: You should NOT install two versions of
PatchTool or two versions of BabelColor CT&A on the same computer. Please
uninstall the older or unwanted version before installing the software.

PatchTool and BabelColor CT&A are no longer
offered in "Universal" binaries. You should download the version which
corresponds to your Mac processor, PowerPC or Intel.
Free evaluation copies can be downloaded by clicking on the
corresponding link (all Mac OS X downloads are compressed in the .zip archive format):
- PatchTool 4.0.0 for Mac OS X
(PowerPC) (32.0 MB)
PatchTool 4.0 is the last version which supports Mac with
PowerPC processors; future versions will support Mac with Intel processors
only.

Important: PatchTool Version 4.x has a different registration key system than the one
used in versions 1.x, 2.x, and 3.x. The Name and Key of these older versions will

16, 2012 (i.e. up to 6 months before version 4.0 launch date) will receive a
new key free of charge; the key will be sent automatically to all customers
who have agreed to receive emails from BabelColor. Please
