CT&A RGB vs RGB
FED-STD-595B to RGB
Here we see the 32544 chip in the FED-STD-595B Color Deck, Deck #2 on the right, being converted to the sRGB space, Space #1, on the left.
Here we have an exact match, because the chip color is within the sRGB space gamut, and the color difference is zero (the CIE94 color-
difference equation is selected).
We also selected the HVC Munsell space in the menu located below the RGB label of Space #1; this gives us the Munsell equivalent (4,5YR
7,0/10,4) of the sRGB coordinates (Note: The HVC data type is also available on the Deck #2 side, in the same menu where the L*C*h data type
is shown). Please consult the Munsell Color System description page for more information on the Munsell system.
You can define your own Color Deck by first opening a color list in PatchTool and then exporting this list to CT&A's Color Deck; purchasing
PatchTool is not required for this action.
